CupShake?? Yes please!

Have you ever eaten some deliciousness at the Sweet Tooth Fairy ?? If you love sweets you will LOVE this place! They are known for their cupcakes but have much more to be tried. The first I ever heard about this amazing place was on Nie Nie's blog . If you don't know Stephanie Nielsen you really should read her story. Amazing woman for sure! Anyways, she often eats at Sweet Tooth Fairy & actually has a cupcake named after her. For quite some time, I enjoyed the cupcakes at this place. That is until I discovered the CupShake! Oh my!!! Drops of heaven in a cup. Choose the cupcake of your choice. And then have it blended with perfectly creamy ice cream into a CupShake! Wow! Talk about amazing. Whenever I need a spirit booster that does it for me! I went and had one of these amazing things tonight...which is why I will not be weighing tomorrow (been tryin to lose weight)!

Look at this cute kid! This is Maliya's brother Cole! He became my little buddy last week when the family went to Big Bear California for some time away. (I'll post all about that soon.) He loved cuddling with me all weekend. I absolutely loved it! But this kid is way too smart! He has a little trick up his sleeve that worked on me all weekend long! Hey, I'll take what I can get though! All weekend he would come up to me with this puppy dog look, say "scared" and hold his arms out for me to hold him. I happily took every chance I could get to hold this kid and cuddle with him. At the end of the weekend I found out he pretends to be scared as an excuse to get held. Hey, I'll take it! I love holding this kid so dang much!!! Thanks for wanting to cuddle with me Cole! I miss you!!!

Look at this girl? Isn't she just so precious?? I have to admit, I love this girl to pieces! She is my little love. She is my sister's babe who was born back in December. Wow, I just realized that she is almost 6 months. Crazy! Anyways, I hold this girl every chance that I get! She is just so cute. My favorite time to hold her is right after she eats. Yes she spits up a TON but it's worth it! I get the most incredible smiles out of her after she eats. I will take those smiles anyday! Can't wait for July to come so I can go visit this little darling!

Children of my own...

I have found myself lately wanting kids of my own more than anything in this world. I've wanted kids since around the time I was just super young around the age of 19. Well, that was over 10 years ago and here I am still with NO KIDS OF MY OWN! Most of the time I am just fine. I'm happy with my life and the things that I've been blessed with. But as of lately my heart aches daily for kids to call my own. I want it so badly that words just can not express how I feel. I understand that it's not easy to be a mom. There are a lot of sacrifices that come with being a mom. But it's worth it to say those are my cute kids! Clearly this will not happen for me anytime soon. But I just needed to get this off my chest, needed to put it out there. It was recently pointed out to me that I make no effort for romance in my life. I realize this is true (and I want to thank this person for bringing this to my attention). But there are reasons why no efforts are made. I have experi…

Graduation Day!

Over two years ago a friend and I decided to start our master's degrees for teaching together. To be honest, if I had known what I was getting myself into I would not have done it. That was BY FAR THE HARDEST THING I'VE EVER HAD TO DO!!! And was it worth it?? NOT REALLY! All the late nights, the early mornings, the headaches...the list goes on and on. This is something that totally pushed me past my limit! I'm not sure how I even survived. Thinking about it makes me want to cry. But the good news is: I DID IT! I GRADUATED FROM SUU WITH A MASTERS OF EDUCATION DEGREE! My wonderful family was there to support me on my special day. So glad that is finally over with!!!

Here are a few pics from my big day!

Me and my baby sister...she graduated HS a few weeks after my grad. Will post a few pics from that day soon!

Birthday Cake

My friend's kid had a birthday. So we made him this fun cake. Not as easy as it looks people!!! But it was fun. I really really love cake decorating. I took one class on it and learned so much. I really wish I had more time to spend on this hobby. I absolutely love doing this and think I could be pretty good at it if I had more time to focus on it. For now...I do it here and there when I can.

Too Many Clothes!

I have quite a few clothes that I've been hanging onto for "when I'm skinny again". Well recently I've been in this dejunkimg my house mood. So I took out all the clothes in these piles and tried them on. I tried them on one item at a time as I watched a show. I started with several piles of clothes and ended with several d.i. bags full of clothes to give away. Why keep what will never fit again?
After bagging up all of these clothes, I realized that I knew someone who was probably just the right size for most of these clothes. So I handed over the bags of clothes to my really good friend, someone who I consider to be my best friend in this world. She scored some really great new shirts, skirts, and capris. She's one lucky girl! She got some of my all-time faves!

I came across this beauty when going through all my clothes. My sisters and I made these shirts a few years ago. Was so excited to find mine...which clearly had been lost for awhile!

Random Post!

Here is the first of many random posts to come. I am way way behind on my blogging and for that I have to apologize. But my crazy little life has just been too much lately!!! Below are some of the happenings of the last few months. The bigger events will come in new posts over the next few days.

My friend Mandy and I decided to make this cute craft for St. Patty's Day. Turned out super cute. We found cheap frames from the d.i. Then we got a sheet of white cardstock, a strip of ribbon, green paper, and a family pic (she chose one of her kids, I chose one of all the girls in my fam). First cut out the letters on the cricut. We inked the edges to give it a fun effect. Then place the letters, the ribbon, and the pic on your cardstock. (this part took the longest for us - we couldn't decide where to put it). Then choose your adhesive and put everything together. Once you're finished, place it in your frame. Don't do what I did and cut yourself on the super sharp glass when p…
