Hello. My name is Mandi and this is my blog. My life may be crazy but it's my life and I love it.
The other day my dad and sister invited me to go to the temple with them. I love the temple so I ofcourse said yes. Well when I got there, I saw this. Yes, I'm happy for them. Good for them that they've found their soul mates. But I literally stood in awe for probably 5 minutes...I'm so so sad these days about this! It has become increasingly hard lately to the point that some days seem unbearable. So it was difficult to see this but at the same time beautiful!!
In front of the temple...selfie :)
Another selfie...a little closer to the temple
All three of us...just after the temple!
Dinner at Pizza FActory...can never go wrong with their food!!!
At dinner...yum!! THanks for the super dinner dad. :)
My bestie Janee and I took a girls trip last week and we had so much fun! It was an epic trip surrounded by one adventure after another! It was my spring break and I've never been to Seattle. Janee's brother lives in Seattle so we thought it'd be fun to go visit while we have a place to stay. Our trip started out by having to postpone by a few days due to many little mishaps. Janee's brother swooped in and saved the day and our road trip turned into a plane ride. Still a road trip, just a shorter one. Instead of driving the fourteen hours to get to Washington, we drove five hours to Vegas and then flew the rest of the way. It was still an adventure, even though we weren't road-tripping it.
Day 1 involved driving like mad to make it to Las Vegas after handling multiple crisis (me waking up sick, Janee's sister cracking her phone, re-packing to accommodate the airline guidelines, Janee having to meet some work deadlines, etc.) The whole drive there I was textin…
I've wanted to do this craft forever! I finally sat down and did it and it really took no time at all! I found the idea here. She used an old dictionary to add a little flair to the board. I wasn't 100% set on that idea. So for now I left the board blank. But I'm thinking I might modge podge some cute scrapbook paper on there later. What do you think? This was such a cheap craft. I think it totaled maybe like 6 or 7 $$. I bought the magnetic board frame at the d.i. for a total of $4. I bought a bag of scrabble letters for $1 from the d.i. as well. And the magnets for the back of the scrabble pieces I already had. They are handy little things that I had in my classroom. But they can be found here at Lakeshore. They really are the most perfect magnets for this craft! (I could only find the larger size online tonight. My brain is not really working too well. But I know this is where I got them before.) So what do you think? Should I find some cute scrapbok paper or leave it …
