Sunday Ramblings...

Image
Hello everyone! It has been quite a day today. Life seems crazy lately! I'm always on the go. If I'm not at school writing lesson plans and grading papers, then I'm out running errands. Every once in awhile I actually find the time to go hang out with some friends or attend a ward activity. I keep thinking to myself that life will slow down soon. But deep down I know that it won't. This is my life. This is how it is. I'm okay with that. I'd rather be too busy then too bored with life. I have so many wonderful things in my life. But sometimes I get to busy to remember that. As the holidays quickly approach us I want to remember that very thing...that I am blessed, so very blessed.
Today as I sat in sacrament meeting, I heard a few quotes that really hit home for me: -God loves us just the way we are. But he loves us too much to let us stay that way.-Celebrate every little victory. I may not have done it perfectly but at least I did it. You are good enough!! Hap…

'Selfies'

Here are a few 'selfies' from the last few months. I really enjoy documenting the moment. One of my favorite things to do is to look back at pictures/albums and think of the fond memories. I'm often alone so 'selfies' have become pretty common for me.

As I was taking pictures I had a few students who kept jumping into the pictures. You always have those few who want to be in every picture. Last year my students were in love with 'photo bombing' each other haha. Silly kids. Anyway, we were near the end of the field trip. I put away my actual camera and pulled out my phone. I wanted to take a 'selfie' with the pretty leaves in the background. …

Visitors...

ABout a month ago my sister and her family were staying in Salt Lake. My BIL Nick was having eye surgery so they were staying for about a week. Nick spent most of the time in the hotel with his eyes closed while Lyn tried to entertain her cute kids. The second I was off of work on Friday I headed up to Thanksgiving Point to meet my sister and the kids at the Museum of Natural Curiosity. I think they were pretty excited to see me, especially my sister. It sounds like they had quite the adventure before I got there. We had so much fun exploring for hours. Partway through our fun day sweet Madison fell asleep in my arms. I didn't mind holding this sweet sleeping baby. If you haven't gone exploring at this museum, you should do it. It is such a fun place!  I spent all weekend with them either hanging out, exploring, or shopping. We spent some time at Costco (they don't have one where they live). We hung out at Toys R Us ... that may have been the kids' favorite part of th…
